Woods Taxis Brighouse

I called in advance to book a trip to garage to pick up my car. First time I called someone picked up the call, didn't say anything and hung up on me. Second time I called I started to say 'hello?' straight away and an operator responded sounding very surprised that they had a call. I asked for a taxi for a specific time which I was told can be done, I got a text that I have the booking for that specific time too. Few minutes after the specific time has passed I get a message that the driver is now on their way, and using the trace link the driver was more than 10 minutes away!! I barely got to the garage before the closing time, which was very frustrating as what is the point of pre-booking the journey if the service is then delayed for no good reason? I'm giving 3 stars rather than 1 as the driver (I can't remember his name, an Asian gentleman) was very nice and managed to get me there on time without speeding etc. Bottom line - driver was good, service was bad.

I have a normally decent experience every time i use these taxis however there’s one taxi driver who is ALWAYS late whenever i have him. He lives round the corner from me therefore has no issue with traffic etc and is always coming from there when he comes for me 15 minutes LATE. If he comes from somewhere else first he parks at the end of the road and pops home and leaves me waiting. I am ALWAYS late to work whenever i have him.

absolutely horrible service!! stood outside waiting for a taxi for an hour and half in -2 weather and getting refused to use a card. taxi driver took my phone off me for proof i would pay him and refused to give me it back when we got there. drove me home doing 104mph down the m62 (way off the route to take me home) will not be getting a taxi from here, absolutely horrible service taxi driver made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe in his car!

Left a review and was asked to email sent email.got notification to say there in box is full.my husband phoned office other night to check correct email and the operator said he didn't know the email and why did we want it.it was explained.to him we wanted to make a complaint.He said well you ain't getting my name my husband said due to his rudeness he would be making another complaint.The operator said make as many complaint as you like I don't care..Defunatley won't be using this firm again and will not recommend.

Always answer the phones quickly and politely no matter what time you ring them. Myself and my mother inlaw have used Woods for years and would not think of going anywhere else. They even have an app you can use to book and pay for your taxi. I have left things in their taxi on nights out and have had my handbag waiting for me at the office. I am able to trust their drivers.
